Yay! Back in Chicago!

invncbleSome how, I managed to sneak onto the first flight out of JFK (on Jetblue) as a standby passanger. I could have sworn there were like 10 or more people in front of me. So, I was able to get back home by 12pm. Unfortunately, my one piece of luggage didn't arrive until the next flight. Luckily there wasn't anything in it that important.
I did have to leave the airport at noon, hop on the El back to my condo, go rent a car (mine is still in the shop), and then head into work by 2pm. Not too bad, considering I could have still been in NYC until 9pm.
Ahh.. just great to be back home.
