Skiing = Fun; Cellphone = Dying
Dec. 22nd, 2008 11:02 pmAs a few others have already posted, I went out skiing the second time in a week (with
jimcyl ,
perro ,
darkwolph ,
kodi_pup ,
hypersnazz ,
street22 , and
dexcat). This time it was a small hill in Wisconsin called Wilmot Mountain. It was my first time in Wisconsin but I didn't get to experience much of the local "culture". ^_^ But the accents were definitely distinct!
The trails were small, but the weather was COLD! Temperatures of -5 deg F plus 20-30 mph winds = windchills of -30 to -35 deg F.
My body survived, but my cellphone didn't. I wouldn't turn on at all. I did get it home later and had to jumpstart it by plugging in the AC charger and repeatedly connect/disconnect the battery. The phone did finally turn on, but the battery is crap now. It can barely hold a charge now.
Oh well... time to move to the Blackberry! J/k. Hopefully batteries aren't too pricey.
