Aug. 6th, 2008 12:07 amJust a quick note...
As Perro has already mentioned, I got to spent an awesome time up in upstate Michigan with a great crew (
nitropup ,
darkwolph ,
perromutt ,
huskydoggeh ,
tervicz , and
aldebron . Thanks to everyone for a great time. Nothing bites a nice fire on the beach, looking up at the many stars, and eating roasted marshmallows.
Lucky, i was able to spend an extra day with Nitropup where we just hung around my neighborhood before he had to head back to NY. Unfortunately, he got caught up in the storm already mentioned by kodipup and had his flight delayed for about 2 hours. I haven't seen such a powerful storm since Hurricane David in 1979. It was a downpour, winds in the 60-90mph gusts, and lightning all over the place. Very scary especially after Tornado sirens went off in the city. That doesn't happen too ofen. In the end, the storms did pass and Nitropup got back safe luckily.
Waiting for the weekend!
