After listening to the local baseball team game, a radio talk show came on with two guests who basically bashed Obama.

Now, I know he's not perfect, has spoken from both sides of his mouth, maybe flipflopped, and has some pretty liberal views as well.

What bothered me the most was a comment from one of the guest, Professor Bruce Thornton of Fresno State (conservative but did not indicate this on the radio). Basically, he said that you could go to any Obama supporter and ask that person why you are voting for him. The response would be "Oh, because I want change and I have hope for the future". This guest apparently thought that was a dumb reason to chose a candidate. He went on to say that if you asked these supporters about specifics of Obama's views and ideas, then the supporters wouldn't know what they were.

That's probably true for a number of Obama supporters, but the same thing could be said about some supporters for McCain. Like:
"Why are you supporting McCain?"
"Because i heard that Obama is Muslim" or "Obama was brought up in a Muslim school" or "I don't like his wife. She is un-American".

Hey both sides can have supporters who choose a candidate for stupid reasons. It's not party or candidate specific.

I wish such "guests" or "experts" would be honest of their bias and try to be "fair and balance".  :P
I know that this radio typically has conservative guests anyway.

Yes, Obama supporters may just like him because they want change or hope for the future.
But, McCain supporters may like him because they don't like Obama or muslims.
Touche, asshole....
